Grief Resource Center

Horizon’s Grief Resource Center is Wisconsin’s only walk-in grief counseling center dedicated to grief, bereavement and healing.

Horizon’s Grief Resource Center (Grief counseling center) serves as a safe haven for individuals and families who’ve suffered a significant loss – including the death of a loved one, a beloved pet, job, miscarriage or another life-changing circumstance. We understand that the grief process is different for everyone, and we’re here to listen and support individuals who are struggling with it. In addition, the center is a resource for physicians, nurses, social workers, clergy, teachers, veterinarians and other professionals who desire more information on grief and healing.

Services provided by the Grief Resource Center are free of charge to anyone who would like to utilize them. Horizon is able to provide this support to the community through the generosity of donors who are moved by our mission. The Grief Resource Center is located at 8949 North Deerbrook Trail, Brown Deer, WI 53223. We are in the business park on the north-west corner of Green Bay Road and Brown Deer Road, behind the North Shore Audi Dealership on Brown Deer Road.

Hours:

Monday-Thursday, 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Friday, 12:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Morning and Saturday availability by appointment only
