Horizon’s Grief Resource Center (Grief counseling center) serves as a safe haven for individuals and families who’ve suffered a significant loss – including the death of a loved one, a beloved pet, job, miscarriage or another life-changing circumstance. We understand that the grief process is different for everyone, and we’re here to listen and support individuals who are struggling with it. In addition, the center is a resource for physicians, nurses, social workers, clergy, teachers, veterinarians and other professionals who desire more information on grief and healing.
In conjunction with our Hospice services, we offer a cohesive grief support program which includes a bereavement program and follow-up provided to all family members of our hospice patients as well as the Grief Resource Center which is open and accessible to the public thanks to the generosity of our donors.
